Kihei’s got this laid-back local feel that I really appreciate — there are great food trucks nearby, and you’re walking distance to some solid restaurants that aren’t just tourist traps. The three-star rating might seem modest, but honestly, the location alone makes this place punch above its weight.

The Suite Layout

This one-bedroom setup is cleverly designed to actually sleep four people comfortably, which isn’t always the case with vacation rentals that make big promises. The bedroom has a proper bed (not some pullout situation), and the living area has additional sleeping space that doesn’t feel like an afterthought. I mean, you’re not going to mistake it for a high-end resort suite, but everything you need is there and it’s clean and functional. The kitchen area is well-equipped enough that you can actually cook real meals if you want to save some money or just prefer eating in.

Beach Access & Amenities

Being across from the beach is the real game-changer here — you can literally see the water from the suite, and beach access couldn’t be easier. Mornings are particularly great because you can watch the local surfers and early morning walkers while you’re still in your pajamas.   Everything about the apartment was great, we had everything we need there and even more (were pleasantly surprised to have the beach chairs, umbrella, cooler there, it was a nice bonus). We also enjoyed spending time in the yard near the pool

  Location was wonderful, plus plenty of space inside with an excellent stocked kitchen that has a full sized refrigerator. AC was perfect and so was the lovely view from the upstairs balcony. Nice private parking right in front of the entrance to the suite

  We had a very comfortable and fun stay here. It's very centrally located– quick to get to Kihei commercial center, or even to any other part of central Maui. It's right across the street from a beautiful beach. There's outdoor seating and lounging by the pool which was a great spot for eating homemade breakfast. And we were pleasantly surprised by the yummy treats that the host left for us upon arrival.
