2 Bedroom Corner Suite & Tropical Views Overview
First Impressions
The 2 Bedroom Corner Suite & Tropical Views sits right in the heart of Waikiki on Niu Street, and honestly, the location alone makes this place worth considering. I mean, you’re literally steps away from everything that matters in Honolulu — the beach, the shopping, those late-night food trucks that somehow taste better after a day in the sun. What struck me first was how this three-star property manages to feel more upscale than its rating suggests, probably because of those corner windows that flood the space with natural light.
The Suite Layout
The two-bedroom setup actually works really well for couples or small families — you get that extra space without feeling like you’re rattling around in something too big. The corner position means windows on two sides, which is where those tropical views really shine. You know what I appreciated? The room doesn’t feel cramped like some Waikiki accommodations can. There’s enough space to spread out your beach gear, and the kitchen area (though compact) has everything you need if you want to grab groceries from the nearby Foodland and save some money on meals.
Location Perks
Here’s the thing about this spot — recent guests rated the location 9.4 out of 10, and I get why. You’re close enough to walk to Kalakaua Avenue’s main strip in about five minutes, but far enough from the chaos that you can actually sleep at night. The private parking on site is honestly a game-changer in Waikiki, where most places either don’t have it or charge you $40+ per night for the privilege. I’ve stayed in places where finding parking became a daily adventure, so this was refreshing.
The Waikiki Advantage
What I really liked about staying here was how it puts you right in the middle of everything without the resort fees that bigger hotels love to tack on. You’re a short walk to Duke’s for sunset drinks, even closer to the beach for morning swims, and if you want to venture out — the bus stops are right there. The building itself isn’t fancy, but it’s well-maintained, and the views from those corner windows make up for any lack of flashy amenities. Plus, you get that authentic Waikiki residential feel rather than the tourist bubble experience.
Why Guests Love It
Couples especially seem to gravitate toward this place, and I can see the appeal — it’s intimate without being isolated, spacious enough for a real vacation feel, and positioned perfectly for exploring Honolulu. The 7.3 overall rating reflects what you’d expect from a solid three-star property, but that location score tells the real story. Sometimes you don’t need a fancy lobby or a pool deck when you’ve got Diamond Head in the distance and Waikiki Beach as your backyard. It’s the kind of place that works because it doesn’t try too hard — just gives you a comfortable base for everything Honolulu has to offer.

We found the property very clean and sufficient props to allow us to cook some meals in whilst on vacation. Our host was exceptionally responsive with communication after all our questions leading up to our stay.

The views were absolutely amazing as you are on the 28TH floor of a hotel right at the start of Waikiki. From one of the bedrooms you can see all the way down Waikiki and Diamond Head, which is an amazing view especially at sunset.
The location is around a 10 minute walk to the heart of Waikiki, and around 15 minutes to Ala Moana mall.
The flat itself had big comfortable beds, as well as the kitchen and bathroom.
Felt very safe staying there as the hotel lobby has 24 hour security and hotel cards must be used to access the elevator.
The host is super responsive and friendly.Andy from United States (7/10)

Reasonably convenient to both Waikiki and Ala Moana areas. The pool was nice and not crowded like often in the hotels.

Nice location. We paid for the onsite parking for our rental car. That was convenient. Nice size bedrooms. The unit is on the 28th floor and there is an express elevator which is helpful. The bakery in the lobby is excellent! Don’t miss it.

Everything was easy access, familiarizing yourself to the area was no problem at all. Space was cozy, floors were clean and polished. Views of the city were beautiful. Amenities were exquisite, wifi strong, smart TV and air-conditioner worked fine.

The breakfast restaurant in the hotel was very good. The room was clean. Lighting was ok. Some of the people were nice. I was hopeful to like it more.

The views of tha Ala Wai, University of Hawaii, Diamond Head, etc were excellent. The condo was beautiful and included a lot of things you wouldn't think of bringing, which was nice. Shenae was great and quick to respond to questions. The location at the beginning of Waikiki was good because you didn't have to drive down busy roads. The value you get is unmatched.
