Hotel Description
Honestly, when I first walked into this penthouse, I wasn’t expecting much – I mean, it’s technically a 3-star place, right? But you know what hit me immediately? Those ocean views are absolutely no joke. We’re talking floor-to-ceiling windows that basically turn your morning coffee into a whole experience. The 9.0 rating suddenly made complete sense.
The space itself is pretty generous for what you’re paying – two actual bedrooms (not those weird hotel “suites” where one room is basically a closet), and the living area flows really nicely toward those massive windows. I spent way too much time just standing there watching the waves, which probably sounds cheesy, but honestly, it’s kind of mesmerizing. The kitchen isn’t huge, but it’s got everything you actually need if you want to grab groceries and cook a simple dinner while watching the sunset. Speaking of which – the evening light in this place is something else. The whole apartment just glows this warm orange around 6 PM.
What I really appreciated were the little things that show someone actually thought about how people live in a space like this. The master bedroom faces the water too, so you wake up to that view (though fair warning, if you’re a light sleeper, you might want to close those curtains – the sunrise is pretty dramatic). The second bedroom is perfect for kids or if you’re traveling with friends who don’t need the ocean view to be happy. Parking was surprisingly easy – there’s a dedicated spot, which honestly saved me from circling around looking for street parking like I usually do in waterfront areas. Check-in was smooth too; none of that awkward waiting around in a lobby situation since it’s more of a private rental setup. The building itself is quiet, which I wasn’t totally expecting given how close you are to everything. Sure, you’ll hear some traffic during busy times, but it’s not that constant city noise that drives you crazy. I actually found the sound of the waves kind of drowns out most of the street sounds anyway. The whole place feels like you’re staying at someone’s really nice apartment rather than a hotel, which some people love and others might find a bit too… I don’t know, unofficial? But for me, it was perfect for actually relaxing and feeling like I could spread out and breathe.

Everything was there in the apartment. Plenty of towels, kitchen equipment and bedding. Great location as well. Pool area was also great. It was also nice and clean. And we did have ocean views as promised.

The elevators were horrible. One of the 3 was out of commission. The other two did not consistently stop on the floors for which the buttons were pushed. Twice, we feared we were going to be stuck in the elevator. We were on the 24th floor so stairs were not an option.
