The name makes it sound like some massive resort complex, but it’s actually this really well-designed single-story home that feels way more spacious than you’d expect. I mean, four bedrooms plus a separate cottage – honestly, our group of eight had room to spread out without tripping over each other, which if you’ve ever done a big family vacation, you know that’s basically a miracle.

The pool situation is what really sold me on this spot. It’s not huge, but it’s perfectly positioned where you get morning sun if you’re an early bird (I’m not, but my sister is) and then nice shade in the afternoon when it gets brutal out there. The cottage thing is pretty clever too – we ended up using it for the teenagers in our group, and suddenly everyone was happy because the adults could actually have conversations without constant eye rolls and dramatic sighs. The whole setup just works, you know? There’s this easy flow between indoor and outdoor spaces that makes it feel like you’re living there, not just camping out in someone else’s house.

What I really appreciated was how quiet it gets at night. You’re not dealing with hotel hallway noise or people slamming doors at 2 AM – just the occasional gecko chirping, which honestly becomes kind of soothing after the first night. The kitchen is actually equipped for real cooking too, not just the bare minimum microwave situation you usually get. We ended up grilling most nights and eating by the pool, and it felt more like a proper vacation than just bouncing between restaurants. The air conditioning works great (crucial, obviously), and there’s enough parking for a couple cars without playing Tetris every time someone wants to leave. Only minor thing – the WiFi can be a bit spotty in the cottage, but honestly, that might be a feature not a bug depending on who you’re traveling with. For the price point and the amount of space you get, especially with that private pool setup, it’s really solid. Way better than cramming everyone into hotel rooms and definitely more relaxed than some of the fancier places where you feel like you can’t touch anything.
