The oceanfront views are legit – not one of those “if you crane your neck and squint” situations. From the main living areas, you’re looking straight out at the water, and honestly, I found myself just standing there with my coffee way longer than necessary most mornings. What I didn’t expect was how the light changes throughout the day – mornings are all soft and golden, but by afternoon you’ve got this brilliant blue thing happening that makes everything look like it’s been Instagram-filtered, except it’s real.

Now, it’s a 3-star place, so don’t go in expecting marble everything and turndown service. But here’s the thing – it doesn’t need all that. The bones of this place are solid, and whoever runs it seems to get that sometimes less fussy is actually better. The kitchen’s well-equipped (I actually cooked a few meals, which I never do on vacation), and there’s decent storage space, which matters more than you think when you’re staying somewhere for more than a couple nights. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward – none of that resort rigmarole where they try to sell you seventeen upgrades.

The location works well if you’re the type who wants to be near the water without being in the middle of tourist central. You can walk to some decent spots for food and supplies, though you’ll probably want a car if you’re planning to explore much beyond the immediate area. Parking wasn’t a nightmare, which honestly surprised me given how close we are to the beach. One small thing – the walls aren’t super thick, so if you’re a light sleeper and there are families around, you might hear some of the usual vacation noise. But during the times I was there, people seemed pretty respectful about quiet hours.

What really sold me on this place was how it manages to feel both relaxed and put-together. Like, it’s clearly been maintained by someone who actually cares, not just managed by a property company checking boxes. The 8.0 rating makes sense – it’s not perfect, but it delivers on what it promises without any weird surprises or disappointments. If you’re looking for that sweet spot between a basic rental and an overpriced resort experience, this hits it pretty well.
