Hotel Description
Look, I’ll be honest – when I first saw “Brooks Beach Vacations 4 star Wyndham Resort 2003 Waikiki” I was a bit confused by the name (it’s actually a 3-star place, not 4), but you know what? Sometimes the best experiences come from places that don’t take themselves too seriously. This spot really surprised me in the best way possible.
The thing about staying in Waikiki is that you’re either right in the thick of the tourist madness or you’re tucked away somewhere that actually lets you breathe a little. This place manages to give you both – you’re close enough to walk to all the main beach action and those iconic Duke Kahanamoku statues, but far enough from Kalakaua Avenue that you won’t have street performers and tour groups as your alarm clock every morning. I mean, you’ll still hear the occasional moped at dawn (it’s Hawaii, not a monastery), but it’s honestly pretty peaceful most of the time. What really got me was how the staff actually seemed to know the area beyond just the standard tourist recommendations. The front desk guy – I think his name was Marcus – told me about this little poke spot that locals hit up, not the Instagram-famous places that charge twenty bucks for a tiny bowl. These are the details that matter when you’re trying to experience a place, not just check it off your list.
The rooms themselves are solid without being fancy – clean, comfortable beds, decent water pressure in the shower (which honestly can be hit or miss in older Waikiki properties), and air conditioning that actually works when you need it. Sure, the décor isn’t going to win any design awards, but everything functions the way it should. I actually appreciated that it felt more like a real place where people stay rather than some sterile resort where you’re afraid to touch anything. The 9.0 rating makes total sense to me because while it’s not luxury, it delivers exactly what it promises without any unpleasant surprises. Check-in was smooth, parking wasn’t a nightmare (though you’ll pay for it – this is Waikiki after all), and housekeeping was consistent throughout my stay. What I really loved was being able to walk to Kuhio Beach in under ten minutes, but also having quick access to some of the quieter residential streets where you can grab actual groceries or find a decent cup of coffee that doesn’t cost eight dollars. The whole area has this interesting mix of old Hawaii charm and tourist infrastructure, and this hotel sort of sits right in that sweet spot where both feel accessible.
Apartments in Hawaii provide travelers with an authentic local experience, allowing them to shop at traditional farmers markets and cook with fresh ingredients from the renowned Hawaiian culinary traditions.

Great location, nice balcony view on mountain, city, and even ocean. You get access to internet, sauna, pool, laundry, gym. Bed is nice and big. The closest beach is about 15 mins walking. If you like to run, there’s a nice path along with canal.
P.S. if you’re light sleeper, please, bring ear plugs. City is always on a move. You can hear cars driving, police, ambulances. At 4 am, you’ll hear roosters. One night, security alarm of someone’s car was making noise all the time. It’s not an issue with the property. It’s a city noise which you’ll be surrounded in Waikiki, and it won’t matter what floor you’re in.Marylin from United States (9/10)

Such a clean, comfortable and convenient property. Paul was so easy to communicate with and kept me updated with information leading up to our trip and also touched base during, and wished us a safe journey home, which I thought was really nice and personable.
Our entire stay was perfect due to the location of the property to central Waikiki, buses, pool access and cleanliness and friendliness of staff.
