Hotel Description
Look, I’ll be honest – when I first pulled up to this place in Kihei, I wasn’t expecting much from a 3-star spot. But honestly? This little gem completely caught me off guard. The “new” part of the name isn’t just marketing speak either – everything feels fresh and thoughtfully put together, like someone actually cared about creating a space where people would want to hang out, not just crash for the night.
The two-bedroom setup is perfect if you’re traveling with family or friends who actually want some breathing room (you know how those hotel walls can feel paper-thin). What really got me though was how they’ve managed to nail that tropical vibe without going overboard with the tiki torches and fake palm fronds. The gardens – and there really are gardens, not just a couple potted plants – create this sort of peaceful buffer from the street noise. I mean, you’re still in Kihei so you’ll hear some traffic, but it’s way more manageable than some of the places right on South Kihei Road where trucks rumble by at 6 AM.
The kitchen situation is actually functional too, which… let’s be real, that’s rare in vacation rentals. I’m talking full-size appliances, decent counter space, the works. Perfect for those mornings when you want to grab some fresh poke from Foodland and eat it properly instead of standing in a parking lot like a tourist (though honestly, we’ve all been there). And here’s something I didn’t expect – the air conditioning actually works well. Sounds basic, but you’d be surprised how many places in Maui seem to think a ceiling fan and island breeze will cut it when it’s 85 degrees and humid at midnight. The location puts you close enough to the beaches that you’re not driving everywhere, but far enough inland that you’re not paying beachfront prices for everything. You can walk to some decent local spots – there’s this little coffee place about ten minutes away that locals actually go to, not just the resort crowd. Plus you’re positioned well for day trips up to Haleakala or over to Lahaina without feeling like you’re starting from the middle of nowhere. What really sealed it for me was the attention to small stuff – good water pressure in the shower, blackout curtains that actually block light, and enough outlets near the beds for all your devices. It’s those little things that make you realize someone who travels stayed here first and noted what was missing.
Apartments in Hawaii provide travelers with an authentic local experience, allowing them to shop at traditional farmers markets and cook with fresh ingredients from the renowned Hawaiian culinary traditions.

We had a great week vacation here. Location is ideal in Kihei, few minutes walk from the beach, supermarket right around the corner, parking right by the unit and easy access to restaurants.
There’s AC and fans in all the rooms (we barely used the AC). We could easily set up our switch and Chromecast on the TV for streaming. Hosts left plenty of bath and beach towels, and equipment such as a cooler, beach chairs and beach umbrella.
We read complaints of bugs for other properties online, but we saw none here. Everything was very clean.
Hosts were very responsive to texts.
Highly recommend!
