The rooms are clean and functional (though don’t expect a massive bathroom), and you know what really sold me? The air conditioning actually works properly. Sounds basic, but I’ve stayed in supposedly nicer places where I’m sweating all night.

The front desk staff genuinely seems to know the area – not just the obvious tourist spots, but they pointed me toward this little poke place that locals actually go to, and they were spot-on about which beach access points are least crowded in the mornings. That 8.3 rating makes total sense once you realize this place delivers exactly what it promises without any pretense. You’re a five-minute walk from the beach, close enough to grab decent coffee without hotel markup, and if you’re the type who spends most of your time exploring anyway (which, let’s be honest, you should be), this gives you a comfortable home base without eating your entire budget. It’s not going to be your Instagram-worthy luxury experience, but it’s the kind of place where you sleep well, the shower has good pressure, and you don’t feel like you’re getting nickel-and-dimed every time you walk through the lobby.
