You know what? I wasn’t expecting much when I first pulled up to Comfort Nest – I mean, the name sounds pretty generic, right? But honestly, this little 3-star gem completely surprised me. The moment you walk through those doors, there’s this immediate sense that someone actually cares about this place. It’s not trying to be fancy or pretentious, just genuinely comfortable in a way that makes you exhale and think “okay, I can work with this.”

The thing that really gets me about Comfort Nest is how they’ve nailed all those little details that most places completely overlook. The Wi-Fi actually works (and I mean really works – I was streaming videos without any of that buffering nonsense), the shower has proper water pressure, and – this might sound weird but hear me out – the pillows are actually the right firmness. Not those rock-hard things that feel like they’re filled with concrete, but not so soft that your head disappears either. Plus, the walls are surprisingly thick for a mid-range hotel, so you’re not lying there at 2 AM listening to your neighbor’s phone conversations or the ice machine cycling on and off.

The staff here seems to actually enjoy their jobs, which is rarer than it should be. Check-in was smooth, no weird upselling attempts, and when I had a question about local restaurants, the front desk person gave me actual recommendations instead of just pointing to a generic tourist brochure. The housekeeping is thorough without being intrusive – they even folded my charging cables neatly instead of just shoving everything aside. Look, I’m not saying this place will change your life or anything, but it does exactly what it promises without any of the usual hotel headaches. If you’re looking for somewhere that feels more like staying at a friend’s well-organized guest room than a sterile corporate box, Comfort Nest delivers. It’s the kind of place where you might actually get a decent night’s sleep and wake up ready to tackle whatever brought you to town in the first place.

  My stay at the comfort nest was fantastic. The host was very helpful. The property very secure, quiet and easy to access, easy to find and park. Great wifi. Very comfortable bed. I slept very well. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything I needed. The appliances and pots and pans were also very nice. There were some really nice small touches that made my stay more comfortable including beach towels, toiletries and a beach chair that I could use during my stay. The property is located in a small neighborhood on the southeast cost of Hawaii in a fairly remote jungle-type area along the coast. That added to the beauty and peacefulness of my stay. The ocean is about 3 minutes walk. There are several sandwich/smoothie/coffee places within a few miles and Isaac Hale park is a 20 minute drive. Can’t say enough positive things about my stay.

  Sylvie is extremely kind and thoughtful. The studio is very organized and we have every thing we can possibly need for cooking and shower. Is very close to amazing places to see the sunrise in walking distance, which we did every morning there. The garden is nice and she shared her parking spot with us. As certified turist guide she can give all kind of advice to find real gems in the area. I love the shower outside of the room too, it’s fun.
