Hotel Description

Okay, so this place isn’t technically a hotel – it’s more like staying at someone’s well-appointed apartment, which honestly makes it way more interesting than another generic resort room. The location is what really got me excited though. You’re literally positioned at the start of the Road to Hana, which means you can actually beat the tourist crowds and start your drive early while everyone else is still fighting for parking spots in Paia.

The lanai is the real winner here – I mean, you’ve got this outdoor space where you can sit with your morning coffee and watch the mist roll off the mountains before the day gets crazy. It’s one of those spots where you actually want to wake up early, you know? The whole setup feels more authentic than staying in Wailea or Ka’anapali where everything’s a bit too polished. You’re in real Maui here, where locals actually live and work. I could hear roosters in the morning (fair warning if you’re a light sleeper), but there’s something charming about that after a few days of it. The neighborhood has that lived-in feel – kids riding bikes, people tending their gardens, the occasional food truck rolling by with some seriously good plate lunches.

What I appreciated was how practical everything felt. There’s actual kitchen space if you want to hit up the Haiku farmer’s market or grab supplies from Mana Foods instead of eating out every meal. The parking situation is straightforward – none of that valet nonsense or hunting for spots. Check-in was refreshingly simple too, though I’d recommend confirming details ahead of time since it’s not a front desk situation. The whole experience feels more like borrowing a friend’s place than staying somewhere corporate, which can be amazing if you’re into that vibe. Just don’t expect daily housekeeping or a concierge – you’re pretty much on your own, but that’s part of the appeal. For the rating it’s got (8.8 is pretty solid), I’d say it delivers exactly what it promises without trying to be something it’s not. Perfect launching pad for the Road to Hana, genuine local flavor, and you’ll probably save money compared to the resort scene while getting a much more authentic taste of what it’s like to actually live in this part of the island.

The concierge service in Hawaii can arrange exclusive volcano helicopter tours, secure reservations at oceanfront luau restaurants, and organize personalized snorkeling adventures with marine biologists.

The place is modern, spacious and cozy. We really loved it and felt very comfortable.
There is attention to detail and they also provided coffee and tea for us to use.

Very nicely renovated inside. Kitchen and equipment among the best I’ve seen in a short term rental. Furniture and mattress were comfortable. Patio (the “Lanai”) not at all special but trade winds are cool in the evening sitting out there. Laundry room inexpensive, close and very clean.
The building looks like an old RedRoof Inn from the outside so don’t be alarmed when you pull up to it.

The condo was comfortable, well equipped and has nice big outdoor area just after the small town of Paia, it was a nice chilled break in our holiday, Close to famous Mama’s fish house and Kuau Cove where we saw turtles.

Location was great, very close to the road to Hana. Due to it’s central location, only about 50 minute drive to Halaekala mt and 40 min to south part of island where we went diving. The beach next to the condo had turtle sightings daily.
Kitchen was very nice with utensils and coffee. The bathroom and rest of condo was very cleaning, definitely well maintained. There was beach chairs and umbrella for us.

Short walk to beach and Mama’s Fish House where the beach scenery/ ocean views were stunning! I didn’t think we will get last min reservation at Mama’s but we did bec we were there early lunch. Our unit was at ground floor so no view but there is a small patio w
lounge chairs to relax looking out open grass land. and palm trees. Inside the kitchen is furnished to the hilt! We enjoyed our short 3 day stay IMMENSELY!
