These units actually feel thoughtfully designed for travelers, with that perfect sweet spot between having your own space and getting proper hotel-style service.

What really sold me was the location itself – I mean, the name gives it away, but being perched up there gives you these incredible views that change throughout the day. In the morning, you’ll catch yourself just standing on the balcony with your coffee (there’s a proper coffee setup in each unit, thank god) watching the light shift across the landscape. The units are spacious in a way that actually matters – like, you can spread out your stuff without feeling like you’re living out of a suitcase, and there’s real counter space in the kitchen if you want to grab groceries and make breakfast. I found myself using that kitchen way more than I expected, partly because it’s so well-equipped and partly because sometimes you just want to eat cereal in your pajamas without getting dressed for the hotel restaurant, you know?

The whole vibe strikes this nice balance between upscale and relaxed – it’s definitely a 4-star experience, but without any of that stuffy formality that can make you feel like you need to be “on” all the time. Check-in was smooth (they actually remembered I was coming, which seems basic but you’d be surprised), and the staff clearly knows the area well. When I asked about hiking spots, the front desk person didn’t just hand me a generic brochure – she told me which trails get crowded after 10am and which ones have the best sunset views. That kind of local insight makes such a difference. The only thing I’d mention is that it can get pretty quiet in the evenings, which was perfect for me since I was looking to decompress, but if you’re hoping for a buzzing nightlife scene right outside your door, you might need to venture out a bit. But honestly? After a day of exploring, settling in with a glass of wine on that balcony while the sun sets felt pretty perfect to me.
