Speaking of the tennis courts, they’re surprisingly well-maintained – I saw the same couple playing every morning around 7 AM, so apparently word gets around among the tennis crowd. The whole setup reminds me of those Hawaii developments from the ’80s, but in a good way – nothing too fancy, just solid and functional.

Well, you’re on South Kihei Road, so there’s some traffic noise – not terrible, but if you’re someone who needs perfect silence, maybe request something facing the courtyard instead of the street. Check-in was always smooth for me, though I’ve learned to avoid arriving right around 4 PM when it seems like half the island is changing over their rentals.
