Hotel Description
You know what? I wasn’t entirely sure what to expect when I first heard “jungle boat hideaway” – I mean, it sounds almost too good to be true, right? But honestly, this place delivers on that promise in ways I didn’t anticipate. The moment you arrive, there’s this immediate sense that you’ve stumbled onto something genuinely different. It’s not your typical hotel experience, and I actually mean that in the best possible way.
The boat itself sits perfectly positioned where the jungle meets the ocean, and I have to say, whoever chose this spot really knew what they were doing. Mornings here are something else – you wake up to this incredible layering of sounds, from the gentle lapping of water against the hull to birds you probably can’t name chattering in the canopy just overhead. The ocean view isn’t one of those “if you crane your neck and squint” situations either; it’s right there, this expansive blue that changes color throughout the day. Around sunset (and trust me, don’t miss this), the whole sky reflects off the water and honestly, I found myself just standing there longer than I probably should have.
What really sets this place apart though is how it manages to feel both adventurous and comfortable at the same time. The accommodations are thoughtfully done – not luxury resort level, but genuinely cozy in a way that makes sense for the setting. The boat’s design works with the environment rather than fighting against it, so you get these amazing cross-breezes that keep things naturally cool even during the warmer parts of the day. I was actually surprised by how quiet it gets at night; there’s something about being on the water that seems to muffle any distant sounds from civilization. The staff clearly know their stuff too – they’re locals who can point you toward hidden swimming spots or tell you which trails are worth your time (and which ones aren’t, which is equally valuable information). Check-in was refreshingly straightforward, none of that formal hotel lobby stuff, just real people who seemed genuinely happy to have you there. It’s the kind of place where you might find yourself chatting with other guests over coffee in the morning, comparing notes about what you discovered the day before. If you’re looking for that perfect Instagram backdrop, you’ll find it here, but more importantly, you’ll find yourself actually putting the phone down and just taking it all in.

Everything was very clean and nicely decorated. Great view of the ocean and a possibility to watch sunset from nearby terrace was amazing. All the flowers surrounding the boat were beautiful.
