The living area flows naturally into the bedroom space, and I loved how they positioned the windows to catch morning light without that harsh afternoon glare that makes you feel like you’re living in a fishbowl. Speaking of windows, the soundproofing is actually pretty solid – I was worried about street noise, but even during what seemed like rush hour, it stayed surprisingly quiet.

What really won me over was the attention to details that most places completely miss. The shower pressure is fantastic (seriously, why is this so rare?), and they’ve got those little touches like good hangers in the closet and enough outlets near the bed for all your devices. The Wi-Fi actually works throughout the entire unit, not just in one corner like so many places. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward too – none of that overly complicated process where they try to upsell you on seventeen different packages. The staff seemed to genuinely know the area well; when I asked about decent coffee nearby, the front desk person gave me specific walking directions to this local spot that tourists definitely don’t know about, rather than just pointing toward the hotel lobby café. I appreciated that kind of insider knowledge. The whole vibe is relaxed without being sloppy, professional without that corporate stiffness that makes you feel like you’re staying in a business conference center. And look, the 8.0 rating makes total sense once you spend a night there – it’s not trying to be the most luxurious place in town, but it delivers on what actually matters when you’re away from home.
