Okay, so I’ve stayed at a lot of oceanfront places, but this penthouse actually made me stop and just stare for a minute when I walked in. You know that moment when you open the door and think “wait, this can’t be right” because it’s so much better than the photos? That was this place. The entire front wall is basically glass, and I mean the ocean is RIGHT there – not across some busy road or behind a row of beach bars, but literally right there. You can hear the waves from every room, which honestly became my favorite white noise machine.

The space itself is huge – way bigger than most hotel suites I’ve been in. The living area flows into this open kitchen that’s actually functional (not just for show like some places), and the bedrooms are positioned so you get those ocean views from bed, which is kind of perfect for lazy mornings. I spent way too much time on the private balcony with my coffee, watching surfers and fishing boats. The furniture is that comfortable kind of beachy elegant – you know, nice enough that you feel fancy but not so precious that you’re afraid to put your feet up. There’s this massive dining table where we ended up playing cards every night because, well, the view made everything feel more special.

What really got me though was how quiet it stays despite being right on the water. I was worried about beach crowds and late-night partying, but the penthouse level keeps you just above all that chaos. You get the full ocean experience without the drunk college kids stumbling past your window at 2am. The building itself is solid – good elevators, decent parking situation, and the check-in was surprisingly smooth for a place this nice. I mean, it’s definitely a splurge kind of spot, but honestly? Sometimes you just want to wake up to waves crashing and feel like you’re living in some beach movie for a few days. The rating speaks for itself – this isn’t one of those places that looks amazing online but disappoints in person. If anything, it’s the opposite.
