The bedroom stays comfortable even when it’s blazing outside, which honestly makes all the difference when you’re trying to sleep somewhere new. The kitchen renovation is where they really showed they were serious about this – new appliances that actually work properly, decent counter space, and cabinets that don’t stick or fall off their hinges when you open them. It’s not huge, but it’s functional in that way where you can actually cook something more ambitious than instant ramen if you want to.
What I really appreciated was how they handled the details that most places overlook. The lighting is actually thought out – you’re not squinting to read or sitting in some harsh fluorescent nightmare. There’s proper storage space, which sounds boring but becomes crucial when you’re living out of a suitcase for more than a couple days. The bathroom renovation feels substantial too, with good water pressure and fixtures that don’t look like they’re about to fall apart. I’ve stayed in places with higher ratings where the shower was basically a sad trickle, so this was a pleasant surprise. The whole space feels like someone who actually lives in apartments designed it, not some corporate committee who’s never had to deal with cramped quarters and poor layouts.
The 4-star rating feels about right – it’s not trying to be some luxury resort experience, but it’s solidly above average in ways that matter for day-to-day comfort. That 8.0 rating makes sense when you consider you’re getting a genuinely renovated space that doesn’t have the usual apartment rental surprises lurking around every corner. It’s the kind of place where you can settle in and not spend your first day there figuring out workarounds for broken stuff or wondering if that stain on the wall is permanent.
