Garden Oasis at Banana Hale Studio Overview

You know what? The Garden Oasis at Banana Hale Studio is one of those places that completely catches you off guard – in the best possible way. I mean, when you first pull up, it doesn’t look like much from the outside, but honestly, that’s part of its charm. It’s tucked away in this quiet residential area where you can actually hear birds chirping instead of traffic, which is pretty rare these days.

The whole “garden oasis” thing isn’t just marketing fluff – they actually mean it. The moment you step onto the property, you’re surrounded by this lush tropical garden that feels like someone’s been lovingly tending to it for years. There are banana trees (hence the name, I’m guessing), hibiscus flowers that are almost obnoxiously vibrant, and these massive ferns that create natural privacy screens. The studio itself sits right in the middle of all this greenery, so when you wake up in the morning, you’re looking out at leaves and flowers instead of concrete walls or parking lots. It’s honestly pretty magical, especially if you’re coming from a big city.

The studio is compact but thoughtfully designed – everything you need is there without feeling cramped. The bed is actually comfortable (you’d be surprised how many places get this wrong), and there’s this little kitchenette that’s perfect if you want to grab some local fruit from the farmer’s market and make breakfast. The bathroom has one of those rainfall showerheads, which sounds fancy but really just means you get a decent water pressure experience. What I really appreciated was how quiet it stays at night – the garden acts like a natural sound buffer, so you’re not dealing with street noise or neighbors slamming doors at all hours.

The owners clearly know what they’re doing when it comes to hospitality. Check-in was smooth, they left some local coffee and fresh fruit as a welcome gift, and they’re the type of people who’ll give you actual useful recommendations instead of just pointing you toward the tourist traps. They mentioned this little local bakery about a ten-minute walk away that honestly had some of the best pastries I’ve ever had – the kind of insider tip that makes a trip memorable.

Look, it’s not a luxury resort with a concierge and room service, but that’s not what you’re getting here anyway. This is more like staying at your cool friend’s place who happens to have impeccable taste and a green thumb. The whole experience feels authentic and relaxed in a way that’s getting harder to find. Plus, for what you’re paying, the value is pretty incredible – especially considering you’re basically getting your own private garden retreat. If you’re looking for somewhere to actually unwind and disconnect a bit, rather than just crash between tourist activities, this place hits the mark perfectly.

Beautiful, large studio with a patio and lovely gardens! Decorated with lots of details. Very pretty and new. Has everything you need: refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker. Easy to get to!
The hosts even provided coffee and creamer which is great!
It has a huge, comfortable king size bed so my young adult daughter and I didn’t mind sharing it although best for couples.
