The whole setup feels refreshingly low-key compared to those big chain hotels where everything’s so… polished and impersonal. Here, you get a proper condo with actual space to spread out – I’m talking a real kitchen where you can make coffee without those awful single-serve pods, and a living area where you can actually relax instead of perching on the edge of a bed. The 8.0 rating makes total sense once you settle in, because while it might not have marble everything and a concierge in a fancy uniform, it delivers on the stuff that actually matters when you’re traveling. The AC works great (crucial, honestly), the WiFi doesn’t cut out every five minutes, and there’s enough hot water for a proper shower even if you’re not the first one up.
What I really appreciated – and this might sound weird – is how quiet it gets at night. You’re not dealing with hallway noise from other guests or those elevator dings at all hours. It’s just… peaceful. The three-star rating is probably about right if you’re comparing it to traditional hotels, but I’d argue the experience feels more personal than that. Check-in was straightforward without any of that “let me tell you about our seventeen different amenities” spiel, and parking was actually manageable (which, let’s be real, is half the battle these days). The space has this lived-in comfort that makes you want to stick around and maybe order takeout instead of rushing out to touristy restaurants every night. I mean, there’s something to be said for having a place where you can kick back with a drink and plan your next day without feeling like you’re camping out in a sterile box.
