It’s just this solid, no-nonsense condo building that sits right where you want to be in Kihei, and after spending a week there, I actually appreciated that laid-back vibe more than I expected.

The thing about staying here is that you’re getting the real Maui experience without all the resort markup and crowds. Unit 310 has this lived-in feeling – I mean that in a good way – like someone’s comfortable home that they’re letting you borrow. The lanai faces the ocean (well, sort of… you get glimpses between the other buildings), and honestly, those morning coffee moments watching the sun come up over the water were worth the whole trip. The kitchen’s actually functional too, which is huge because let’s face it, eating out every meal in Maui will drain your bank account fast. I picked up fresh fish from the local market and cooked it right there – that’s the kind of vacation memory you can’t get from a hotel restaurant.

What really sold me on this place though was the location. You’re maybe a two-minute walk to some of the best beach access in Kihei, and I’m talking about those spots where locals go, not the packed tourist beaches. The snorkeling right out front is surprisingly good – saw more turtles there than at some of the “famous” spots everyone talks about. Plus, you’ve got Foodland nearby for groceries, and if you want to venture out, you’re close enough to everything without being stuck in the middle of the chaos. Parking was never an issue either, which anyone who’s been to Maui knows is actually a big deal. The building’s quiet at night – I mean, you’ll hear the ocean more than your neighbors, and that’s exactly how it should be. Sure, it’s not going to win any design awards, and the furnishings are more “comfortable grandma’s house” than “luxury resort,” but you know what? After a day of hiking Haleakala or driving the Road to Hana, all you want is a clean, comfortable place to crash that doesn’t cost a fortune. That’s exactly what you get here.

  Das Apartment war direkt am Meer mit tollem Blick auf den Sonnenaufgang.
  
  Es war gemütlich eingerichtet und uns hat es sehr gefallen.
  
  Restaurants und Shopping war gleich um die Ecke.
  
  Wir haben beim Strandspaziergang, Turtels und Seals gesehen und es war eine sehr ruhige Wohnanlage
