Hanalei Bay is right there, and on clear days you can see Bali Hai (well, that’s what locals call it anyway). The resort is tucked away from the main tourist areas, so it feels like you’ve discovered something that not everyone knows about. Most guests here are couples looking for that perfect romantic escape, and honestly, they’ve found it.

The Accommodations

Each room here is actually more like a condo — they come with full kitchens, which is perfect because grocery runs to Foodland in Princeville can be part of the fun. The beds are seriously comfortable (guests rave about them), and most units have lanais where you can sit with your morning coffee and just… breathe. The decor is island casual — think rattan furniture and tropical prints, but done tastefully, not like some cheesy tiki bar.

Activities and Amenities

The resort keeps things simple but does them well. There’s a spa for when you want to get pampered, and the location is perfect for windsurfing if you’re into that sort of thing. Fishing is popular here too — the reef creates some interesting spots that locals will tell you about if you ask nicely. What I love is that they don’t try to pack every minute of your day with activities; this is a place where doing nothing feels like doing everything.

  Wonderful and welcoming staff and comfortable accommodation in a beautiful setting! Staff allowed us to stay in the pool area after checkout, which was extremely appreciated with 10 PM flight home.

  This place is in one of the most remote places you can access by road on the island, on a beautiful coastline. It's peaceful, beautiful and quiet. We loved our garden suite (M2), which was tastefully decorated, very clean and well ventilated (no AC) and looked out on the lush garden/stream and pool area (in the distance). The new pool and jacuzzi are nestled in a gorgeous garden. There's a free shuttle you can book during the daytime to take you into town or to the nearby beaches. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating, and the vibe overall was very chill.

  A lovely location, a great room ,comfortable and spacious with all you need .
  We appreciated the shuttle to town for dinner and to the beach where parking was impossible. Proximity to Tunnel beach was great, beautiful spot. Handy to have a coffee place and restaurant next door. The new pool is great. Appreciated the recycling bins.

  Really a nice resort I ever stayed. The room is spacious and relaxing. Ocean view from the balcony and window. The location is pretty good in Haena, easy access to kalalau trail, tunnels beach, lumahai beach…free shuttle can take you to Hanalei area. Will stay here again next time.

  Near to the town with plenty of restaurants and to hikes. Nice flat with ocean view. The pool space was very nice .

  You have a beautiful view on the ocean at one side and on the jungle on the other side. The pool is suggestive in the jungle and quiet. You have a bar and a restaurant. There are not so special but basic (at the bar you can find espresso).

  We had a fabulous stay! The location was gorgeous and so close to the Na Pali coast and Tunnels Beach. The rooms were spacious, comfortable and we had an incredible view (Room J4). The facilities were well taken care of and family friendly! The new pool area is also lovely – pool is big, spa is great and beautiful landscaping. The staff was very communicative and made sure we were taken care of! We would be delighted to stay here again and highly recommend.

  We had the perfect room location – with oceanview but protected from the strongest winds.
  The kitchen was very well equipped – the best kitchen I've ever had on any vacation!
  We slept extremely well, with the ocean breezes and no disturbing noises at all.
  I loved the pool area! Protected from the wind, surrounded by beautiful flowers.
  The laundry room and water filter machine were also very useful.
