  Beautiful property nestled in a local neighborhood overlooking the ocean in the distance. We loved the abundance of plants, flowers, and the amount of spots to sit and enjoy. It was a less than 10 minute drive to Hilo which was perfect for us and a great home base to explore both Volcano National Park and Mauna Kea area. Host was friendly and explained everything in detail. Everything was spotless clean. Bed was very comfortable and air conditioning a major plus. A beautiful local place to stay!

  The bed is a sleep number and very comfortable. It’s a beautiful more private accommodation than a hotel. More like an airbnb. Enjoyed the beauty of the property and lanai. Lanai you have your own section but if others are there they would
  Be next to you. That didn’t happen to us. The owners live on property. Town is a straight shot down a road driving for 5 mins. Hilo is a nice place for a short visit.
