It’s tucked away in a spot where you actually feel like you’re staying somewhere locals might know about, not just another tourist trap.

The thing about this place is that it gets the basics really, really right. I mean, sure, you’re not getting marble countertops or a concierge in a fancy uniform, but the room was clean, the bed was comfortable (and I’m picky about mattresses), and honestly, the whole vibe just worked. The check-in was refreshingly straightforward – no upselling, no long speeches about amenities I’ll never use. Just friendly people who seemed to actually care that I had a good stay. The parking situation is way better than most places in the area too, which if you’ve ever tried to find a spot around here, you know that’s worth its weight in gold.

What really won me over, though, were all those little details that show someone’s paying attention. The Wi-Fi actually works (shocking, I know), the shower has decent water pressure, and the walls aren’t paper-thin like so many places these days. I could hear some street noise during the day, but nothing that kept me up at night – and honestly, I kind of liked hearing a bit of the neighborhood life. There’s something about the location that just feels right; you’re close enough to everything you want to do, but far enough away that you’re not dealing with crowds every time you step outside. The whole area has this relaxed energy that made me want to slow down and actually enjoy being there instead of rushing from one tourist spot to the next. For what you pay, especially considering that 8.0 rating (which feels totally accurate, by the way), you’re getting solid value without any nasty surprises. It’s the kind of place I’d definitely book again – not because it’s fancy, but because it’s genuine.
