The thing about staying here is that it feels like you’ve somehow landed in someone’s really well-appointed vacation home, except with all the perks of actual hotel service. The staff – and I’m talking about people who’ve clearly been there for years, not some rotating cast of temporary workers – they actually remember your name after day one. Check-in was refreshingly normal too, none of that awkward hovering around the lobby for twenty minutes while they “prepare your room.” I walked in around 2 PM on a Tuesday and was upstairs with my key cards in maybe five minutes.

What really sold me on this place though was the attention to details that most hotels completely miss. Like, the shower pressure is actually incredible (you’d be amazed how many four-star places mess this up), and there’s this perfect reading nook by the window where you can sit with your morning coffee and watch the world wake up below. The room itself has this lived-in comfort – not fancy in a show-offy way, but everything just works exactly like it should. The AC doesn’t sound like a freight train, the WiFi actually reaches every corner of the room, and someone clearly thought about where you’d want to plug in your phone charger. These sound like small things, but after staying in dozens of hotels where nothing quite fits together, it’s honestly refreshing.

I’ll be real with you – this isn’t the kind of place where you’re going to find a sprawling pool complex or some elaborate spa setup. But that 9.5 rating isn’t coming from nowhere. It’s earned through all those little moments that make you think “huh, they really thought this through.” Like how the housekeeping team somehow manages to clean thoroughly without that overwhelming chemical smell that usually hits you when you walk back into your room. Or how the front desk genuinely seems happy to help with restaurant recommendations instead of just pushing whatever place gives them kickbacks. I ended up extending my stay by two nights – partly because I was enjoying myself, but honestly partly because the thought of dealing with another hotel after this felt exhausting. Sometimes you find a place that just gets the basics so right that everything else becomes secondary.
