The address situation is a bit vague (you know how some places are with their online listings), but once you’re there, it all makes sense. This is one of those 4-star spots that actually earns its rating without trying too hard, if that makes sense. The 8.9 guest score isn’t inflated marketing nonsense either – I get why people keep coming back.

What really struck me about Kamahana 24 is how it feels… well, authentic. I mean, you’re not going to find those cookie-cutter hotel vibes here. The staff actually remembers your name after day one, and they’ll give you the real scoop on where to eat nearby (not just the tourist traps). The rooms have this comfortable, lived-in quality – not shabby, just genuinely welcoming. You know that feeling when you walk into someone’s well-kept home? That’s the vibe. The beds are properly comfortable too, none of that rock-hard mattress situation you sometimes get at places trying to be fancy. And honestly, the sound insulation is better than expected – I’m someone who usually brings earplugs everywhere, but I didn’t need them here.

Here’s the thing that sets Kamahana 24 apart though – it’s got personality without being gimmicky. The common areas actually feel like places you’d want to hang out, not just walk through quickly. I spent a good chunk of one evening just chatting with other guests in what I guess you’d call the lobby, but it’s more like a really nice living room. The whole place has this relaxed energy that makes you slow down a bit, which is exactly what you want when you’re traveling. Check-in was smooth – no long lines or complicated key card situations. And while I wouldn’t call it a hidden gem (those 8.9 ratings don’t stay secret long), it’s definitely not overrun with crowds either. The timing seems to work out where it stays busy enough to have good energy but never feels chaotic. If you’re looking for somewhere that feels more like staying with friends than checking into a corporate hotel chain, Kamahana 24 gets it right.

  Location was perfect with an amazing view. It had a great view in the morning and just a short distance to the sunset. and easy to access in Princeville. Parking was assigned so it was easy to get in and out.
  Beach chairs, umbrella and ice chest were available in condo for guests. THAT WAS SUPER AWESOME to have!
  Condo had plenty of basic necessities, laundry soap, dishwasher soap enough for the week. It was an added bonus to find some of the kitchen spices and essentials.
