Kamaole Beach Club C109 Overview
First Impressions
When I first pulled up to Kamaole Beach Club C109, I’ll be honest — it doesn’t scream resort glamour from the outside. This three-star condo complex in Kihei has that laid-back, residential vibe that actually works in its favor. You’re not paying for marble lobbies or doormen here, but what you get is something way more valuable: you’re literally a two-minute walk from one of Maui’s best beaches. I mean, the location feedback doesn’t lie — couples rate this place incredibly high, and I can see why.
The Unit Itself
The apartment feels like staying at a friend’s beach house rather than a sterile hotel room. C109 comes with a full kitchen that’s actually functional — not one of those tiny hotel kitchenettes where you can barely make coffee. I ended up cooking breakfast most mornings because, honestly, it was nice to have that option. The living area opens up to a lanai where you can sit with your morning coffee and plan your day. The decor is… well, it’s not going to win any design awards, but it’s clean and comfortable with that casual island feel.
Beach Access and Location
Here’s what makes this place special — Kamaole Beach Park II is right there. And I’m not talking about a five-minute walk where you’re dragging your beach gear; I’m talking about a quick stroll across the street. The beach has golden sand, decent snorkeling on the south end, and those incredible Maui sunsets that everyone talks about. You know what’s great? You can actually pop back to your unit if you forget sunscreen or want to grab a cold drink from your fridge. That convenience is worth its weight in gold when you’re dealing with beach days.
Practical Perks
The complex has a pool if you want a break from the ocean, and there’s parking included — which might not sound exciting, but trust me, in Kihei that’s a real plus. The grounds are well-maintained without being overly manicured, and there’s a BBQ area if you want to grill up some fresh fish from the local market. What I really appreciated was how quiet it gets in the evenings. You’re close enough to the action in Kihei town (maybe a 10-minute drive to the main strip), but far enough away that you’re not dealing with noise from bars or traffic.
Why Guests Love It
This isn’t the kind of place where you’ll be posting Instagram shots of your spa day or fancy restaurant meals — because there aren’t any on-site. But that’s exactly why it works so well for couples looking for a real Maui experience. You’re living like a local for a week, shopping at the nearby Foodland, maybe hitting up some food trucks, and spending your days on an amazing beach without the resort crowds. The 8.7 rating makes perfect sense when you realize what you’re actually getting: a comfortable, well-located base for exploring the island at a price that won’t make you wince every time you check your credit card statement.

We enjoyed the location of the condominium. Steps away from the beach across the street. Plenty of shops and cafes for breakfast lunch or dinner. It's right on the bus line so it can take you all the way up to Kahlului. Wonderful view from the bedroom balcony. Beds are very comfortable. Pull out sofa was very comfortable. Appreciate all the starter shampoo, lotion, and conditioner, as well as, laundry and dishwasher detergent. We booked this trip for my father's birthday and this was his first time out in Maui and he very much enjoyed staying here. Silverware plates cups blender and anything else you can imagine is provided. Also beach chairs towels snorkel gear bodyboard umbrella speaker some other things are included as well.

Great location! Grandchildren loved the easy short walk to the beach. Close to stores. Parking is a little tight but very doable. Quiet considering the busy street. Like the push button entry instead of having to carry keys. Grounds were great.
