The thing about this place is the location – and I mean the real location, not just “beachfront” nonsense. You’re literally a two-minute walk to Kamaole Beach Park III, which is hands-down the best of the three Kamaole beaches if you ask me. Less crowded than Kam I, better facilities than Kam II. The locals bring their kids here on weekends, which tells you everything you need to know. From the lanai, you can actually watch the sunset behind Molokini Crater, and honestly, some evenings I’d just grab a beer and skip going out entirely. The unit itself feels lived-in rather than sterile – good kitchen (the garbage disposal actually works, miracle of miracles), decent Wi-Fi, and air conditioning that doesn’t sound like a jet engine. Parking was never an issue, which… if you’ve tried to park anywhere in Wailea, you’ll appreciate that.

What really sold me on this place was the little stuff. The shower has actual water pressure. The bed doesn’t feel like it came from a budget motel. There’s a Foodland just up South Kihei Road for groceries, and you’re close enough to walk to places like Coconut’s Fish Cafe without needing to drive everywhere. I mean, you’ll probably want a car for exploring the rest of Maui, but for those lazy days when you just want to bounce between the beach and your room? Perfect setup. The building itself is quiet too – I was worried about noise with it being so close to the main drag, but the trade winds and the way it’s positioned actually buffer most of the street sounds. Only real downside is that housekeeping isn’t daily (it’s a condo rental, not a hotel), but honestly, most people prefer the privacy anyway. Just don’t expect fresh towels every morning unless you ask. For what you’re paying compared to the Grand Wailea down the road, this feels like finding a twenty in your old jacket pocket.

  Very convenient location to the beach. Availability of on property amenities like pickleball courts, gas grills, clean pool. Fully equipped kitchen was great for a large group. Plenty of parking available on site.
