What really got me was how they just casually throw in a rental car with the booking. I mean, sure, Maui’s got those resort shuttles, but having your own wheels changes everything. You can actually escape to places like Mama’s Fish House without paying resort taxi prices, or drive up to Haleakala when you get tired of beach time – which happens faster than you’d think, surprisingly.
