Anyone who’s been to the island knows rental cars are basically gold dust, especially during peak season, and the daily rates can easily hit $100+. Having that sorted automatically means you’re not stuck shuttling around on resort transport or paying through the nose for taxis every time you want to hit up Mama’s Fish House or drive the Road to Hana. Speaking of location, you’re right in Kaanapali which puts you walking distance from Whaler’s Village (decent shopping and some solid restaurants), but more importantly, you’re on one of the best stretches of beach on the west side. The snorkeling right offshore is actually pretty good – not Molokini Crater level, but you’ll see plenty of tropical fish without having to book an expensive boat tour.

What really sells me on this place is how it balances that resort convenience with actual local character. The building itself doesn’t feel massive and impersonal, and the unit I stayed in had this great lanai where you could actually hear the waves at night (not just traffic from the main road, which happens more than you’d think in Kaanapali). The kitchen setup is legit too – I mean, you can actually cook real meals here instead of just reheating leftovers. That matters when you’re staying more than a few days and realize that eating every meal out on Maui will basically require a second mortgage. Check-in was smooth, parking was straightforward, and the whole experience felt refreshingly drama-free. With a 9.0 rating, clearly other people are having similar experiences. It’s one of those places where you get that perfect balance of island relaxation without feeling like you’re completely disconnected from everything that makes Maui special.

  Loved the spacious size of the condo and the big lanai. I think much more convenient and value for a family rather than a traditional resort.

  Excellent location. Short drive to very nice beaches, snorkelling and walking distance to shopping, restaurants.
  Quiet property, not that busy at the pool during our stay. Spacious, and comfortable condo for 3 people. Nice to be supplied beach chairs and cooler ( no umbrella though for beach)j Also getting the car rental as part of the stay was a nice perk that attracted us to this property. KBM also responded promptly to any queries we had and issue with one of the bathroom sinks not draining well was quickly resolved.
