Hotel Description
Okay, so I’ll be honest – when I first heard “boutique resort,” I was expecting something a bit more… grand? But honestly, the Lotus Suite surprised me in the best way possible. It’s got this understated charm that actually works better than flashy lobbies and marble everything. You walk in and it just feels like someone’s really thoughtful friend designed a space where you’d actually want to hang out, not just crash for the night.
The one-bedroom setup is cleverly done – I mean, they say it sleeps four and they’re not lying, though you’ll want to be pretty friendly with whoever’s on the sofa bed. The main bedroom has this airy feel with windows that actually open (you know how rare that’s becoming?), and there’s enough closet space that you won’t be living out of your suitcase. What really got me was the little kitchenette area – nothing fancy, but it’s got a proper coffee maker and enough counter space to spread out if you’re the type who needs their morning ritual just right. The bathroom’s compact but well thought out, with one of those rainfall showerheads that actually has decent water pressure.
You know what I loved most though? The place has this lived-in quality without feeling worn down. Like, the furniture has character – there’s this reading chair by the window that’s clearly someone’s favorite spot, and the art on the walls isn’t just generic hotel prints but pieces that actually complement each other. The whole resort runs pretty quietly, which honestly shocked me for a 3-star place. I was expecting thin walls and hallway conversations at midnight, but the soundproofing is surprisingly solid. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward too – no upselling, no lengthy presentations about spa packages, just friendly people who seemed to actually care whether you found everything okay. The 9.1 rating makes total sense once you’re there for a day or two. It’s not trying to be something it’s not, which is maybe why it works so well. Sure, you won’t get turn-down service or a concierge who knows the mayor, but you’ll get a genuinely comfortable space that feels more like borrowing a friend’s apartment than staying in a hotel. Perfect for couples who want their own space, or small families who don’t need separate bedrooms for everyone. Just don’t expect a resort pool or room service – this is more about having a really solid home base while you explore, and honestly? Sometimes that’s exactly what you need.
Travelers should reserve a hotel in Hawaii at least two months ahead of their visit to ensure availability and secure better rates, especially during the peak winter season when the islands host numerous cultural festivals and outdoor activities.

The property was accessible and close to the beach. The kitchen was a plus, it’s unfortunate we didn’t get to spend more time and enjoyed the property.

Spacious but a little dark
Simone from Italy (9/10)
The apartment was very large and completely furnished. The kitchen had everything we needed, including coffee, towels and everything ready to use (including beach towels, chairs and umbrella). It was lovely to chill by the pool in the evening or having breakfast on the balcony upstairs. We stayed for two weeks and we found a change of bathroom towels. Toni was extremely polite and ready to accomplish our requests or answer our questions. The position was great as we could reach all the main locations on the island within 30 minutes.

Thomas from United States (8/10)
Really nice, well organized and well-supplied condo in a small (6-unit) complex. Small patio off upstairs loft/bedroom. Pool right outside the living room slider. A pineapple, some local coffee and macadamia chocolates were a very nice welcome gift! Toni was very responsive and provided great communications.

Literally 1min walk from the beach.
