The setup is practical rather than Instagram-perfect, but after a day of snorkeling or hiking Haleakala, you’ll care more about comfort than aesthetics anyway. The lanai faces toward the ocean, and while you’re not getting unobstructed water views, you can definitely catch glimpses of blue between the palm trees.

You’re close enough to walk to Kalama Park (great for families, by the way), and the snorkeling at nearby Kamaole Beach Parks is honestly some of the best on the island — I’ve seen more sea turtles there than anywhere else. The local restaurant scene along this stretch is fantastic too, from casual plate lunch spots to places where you can grab fresh poke for a beach picnic. You’re also perfectly positioned for those early morning drives to catch sunrise at Haleakala, which trust me, is worth the 3 AM wake-up call.

  The property was very spacious, clean and comfortable. The condo was very cool/ cold with the AC unit and ceiling fans which i loved. Self parking is a plus and our room was close to the elevator and the pool which was very convenient. The kitchen was well supplied, just wished we got to cook. We look forward to our next stay at the Maui Vista!

  The renting agent was good and responsive but the local office/security was okish in customer support (maybe because the renting property was not managed directly by local office?) . Very convenient location — beach is across the street (5 min work); an ABC convenient store is ~10 min walk. The in room washer and dryer make the stay worth a lot as well.
