Look, I’ll be straight with you about this place – when I first walked into this Waikiki studio, I wasn’t expecting much from a 3-star spot. But honestly? Sometimes the ratings don’t tell the whole story, and this little gem proves it.

The ocean view is legit, not some sliver of blue you have to crane your neck to see. You’re actually looking out at the Pacific, and if you time it right in the evening, you’ll catch those sunset colors bouncing off the water while you’re sipping your morning coffee (or evening wine – no judgment here). The studio itself is what I’d call efficiently modern – everything’s clean and functional without trying too hard to be fancy. The bed’s comfortable enough that I didn’t wake up feeling like I wrestled with a surfboard all night, and there’s actually decent counter space in the kitchenette, which you know is rare in these compact Waikiki setups.

What really sold me on this place though is the location factor. You’re close enough to the main Kalakaua Avenue action that you can walk to those touristy spots – I mean, you’re in Waikiki, you’ve got to do the tourist thing at least once – but far enough away that you’re not dealing with the street performers and crowds right outside your window at midnight. The beach access is solid too; there’s this little path that the locals use that gets you to a less crowded stretch of sand. Parking’s actually not terrible here, which honestly shocked me because finding a decent parking situation in Waikiki usually costs more than the room itself. The front desk folks seem to actually live here and know the area – they pointed me toward this poke spot that definitely wasn’t in any guidebook but had locals lined up every lunch hour. That 9.2 rating makes sense when you stay here because it’s those little touches that add up. Sure, it’s not going to wow you with marble bathrooms or a rooftop infinity pool, but it delivers on what matters: clean, comfortable, great view, and you’re not getting gouged on every little thing. Plus, the AC actually works properly, which you’ll appreciate when that tropical humidity hits in the afternoon.

  The studio is modern which gave us comfortable feeling. We liked the spacious shower, plenty of towels, dishes. There are a stove, a microwave oven, a coffee maker, refrigerator.
  
  This is a studio, so lots of things are packed in the small space. The bed is on top of the drawers.
  There were a sun seat, boogie board, toys.
  
  The location of the studio is great for people with kids as it is in a straight proximity from the beaches without the waves (2-3 min walking) Also the zoo and aquarium are on this end of Waikiki. On the other side you might need bigger space when traveling with kids.
