What I really appreciated was how quiet it gets at night – and I mean actually quiet, not hotel-quiet where you’re still hearing ice machines and hallway conversations at 2 AM. The building sits in a spot where you’re close enough to everything that matters but far enough from the main tourist strips that you’re not dealing with that constant buzz of activity. Parking was surprisingly hassle-free too, which honestly made my whole stay less stressful (you know how it is trying to find decent parking in popular beach areas). The unit itself feels more like borrowing a friend’s place than staying in a hotel room – there’s character in the details, maybe some wear here and there, but everything you actually need works fine.
Here’s the thing though – this isn’t the place if you’re expecting daily housekeeping or a concierge to plan your day. It’s more of a “figure it out yourself” kind of setup, which I actually loved because it forced me to explore and find my own rhythm. The kitchen setup is solid enough that I ended up cooking breakfast most mornings instead of hunting for overpriced hotel food. And honestly, for a 3-star place, the location gives you way more bang for your buck than some of those resort properties that charge you extra for everything. You’re getting that authentic island living experience without the tourist markup – just don’t expect marble countertops or Instagram-perfect interiors. It’s comfortable, practical, and has this genuine local feel that made me want to come back.
