Like, the lighting is warm and adjustable (thank god, because I hate those harsh overhead fluorescents), and they’ve got these little reading nooks that you’ll actually use. The beds are solid – not too soft, not too firm – and the linens feel expensive without being fussy. What really impressed me was how quiet it stays at night. I’m usually the person who brings earplugs everywhere, but I didn’t need them here. The walls are thick enough that you’re not hearing every conversation in the hallway, which is honestly rare these days. The bathrooms are well done too, with decent water pressure and enough counter space that you’re not playing Tetris with your toiletries.

Here’s the thing though – and this might matter depending on what you’re looking for – it’s definitely more of a peaceful, low-key experience than a party atmosphere. If you’re hoping for a bustling pool scene or late-night bar action, you might want to look elsewhere. But if you’re after a place where you can actually relax and maybe get some work done (the WiFi is solid, by the way), this hits the sweet spot. The staff seems to genuinely care about the details without being overly formal about it. Check-in was smooth, they remembered my name the next day, and when I had a question about local restaurants, the guy at the front desk gave me actual recommendations instead of just pointing to a tourist brochure. The location works well if you’ve got a car – parking isn’t a nightmare, which is saying something. I’d definitely come back, especially during the quieter months when you can really appreciate what they’re doing here. It’s the kind of place that grows on you, and honestly, those are usually the best finds.

  Complete woning. Veel spullen voor naar het strand te leen. Zelfs kruiden, aluminiumfolie etc in de kasten. Hele fijne bedden. Zeer compleet!! In een rustige, veilige wijk.
