Hotel Description
You know what surprised me most about Nihilani Apartments? How quiet it actually gets at night – and I mean properly quiet, not that fake “peaceful” you get when you’re still hearing traffic through thin walls. I stayed here twice last year, and honestly, the 4-star rating doesn’t quite capture what you’re getting. It’s more like they’re not trying to oversell themselves, which I actually respect.
The apartments themselves are spacious in that way that makes you wonder why hotel rooms are usually so cramped. I mean, you’ve got proper counter space in the kitchenette – enough to actually spread out your stuff without playing Tetris with your coffee mug and phone charger. The living areas feel lived-in rather than sterile, if that makes sense. There’s this warm lighting that kicks in around sunset that makes everything feel sort of golden and relaxed. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward too – no upselling, no twenty-minute speech about amenities, just “here’s your key, the elevator’s over there.” Sometimes simple is exactly what you want after a long travel day.
What really sold me on the place (and why I keep coming back) is how it strikes this perfect balance between having your own space but still feeling connected to wherever you are. The 9.0 rating makes total sense when you factor in little things like actually functional WiFi, water pressure that doesn’t make you question your life choices, and – this might sound weird – but the doors close properly. You’d be amazed how many places can’t nail that basic detail. The neighborhood has this authentic feel during morning walks, with local coffee spots that aren’t trying to be Instagram-famous, just good. Parking wasn’t a nightmare either, which honestly puts it ahead of half the places I’ve stayed. I did notice it gets busier around local festival seasons – nothing crazy, just more families checking in with lots of luggage and excitement. But even then, it never felt chaotic or overcrowded. If you’re the type who needs room service and a concierge desk, this probably isn’t your speed. But if you want a place that feels like a really nice temporary home where you can actually unpack and settle in for a few days? Yeah, definitely worth booking.

The location was great–quiet neighborhood, great pool, quick drive to beaches or further into town for restaurants. We really enjoyed having the space to spread out, and the condo was lovely. We especially appreciated the beach chairs and boogie boards for our use!
