When I first pulled up to Noahs Hideaway Luxury B&B on Holomakani Place, I honestly wasn’t sure what to expect — the name suggests something grand, but this four-star bed and breakfast feels more like discovering a well-kept secret. The property sits quietly in Lahaina, away from the tourist chaos but close enough that you can actually walk to Front Street when you want that classic Maui experience. There’s free parking right on site, which might sound basic but trust me, in Lahaina that’s worth its weight in gold.

The Setting

What struck me most was how the owners managed to create this intimate retreat that feels completely removed from the hustle below. You know what I mean — Lahaina can get pretty intense with all the cruise ship crowds and tour groups, but up here it’s just peaceful. The location gets a perfect 10 from guests, and I get why. You’re literally minutes from some of the best snorkeling spots on the island, and if you’re planning to catch the ferry to Lanai, you couldn’t ask for a better base.

The Room Experience

The room I stayed in had this perfect balance — comfortable without being overly fancy, clean lines but still warm and inviting. I mean, this isn’t a massive resort with hundreds of rooms, so everything feels personal and thoughtfully designed. The bed was honestly one of the most comfortable I’ve slept in on the island, and the bathroom had those little touches that show someone actually cares about the guest experience. What I really appreciated was how quiet everything was at night — you can hear the ocean in the distance but none of the street noise from downtown.

  Every morning started with an delicious, nutritional breakfast and a nice chat with Fadi. He would give excellent recommendations based on my interests, the time of year, even the weather. Laying by the pool was relaxing, and I almost always had the pool and the grounds all to myself, since there was only one other room on the property. Between the pool, sauna, hot tub, pizza oven, grill, and comfortable room, I could have spent every day here, never leaving! However, the property is a very quick walk to Ka'annapali Beach and Whaler's Village and a quick drive to several other parks, beaches, and restaurants. Fadi, Cath, and Noah were incredibly accommodating, and I cannot wait to come back again and again. I've already recommended it to several friends, and will be working on convincing some to join me in years to come.

  We stayed at Noah’s Hideaway for the first two nights of our trip and it was the perfect place to get into vacation mode. with only two rooms, you really have the pool and facilities almost to yourself. The property is private and the room was clean and well appointed, with every detail and amenity thought out. Fadi was the perfect host, greeting us with a refreshment. The property is in a residential area butting up to the golf course, so we had a nice view from our room. the property feels very secluded, and a short walk to the beach and Kaanapali shops and restaurants. Breakfast is provided and it was outstanding with a plentiful combination of delicious choices!

  There is not enough room to write all the wonderful things about Noah’s Hideaway and the exceptional hosts! I am normally a resort only type person and this experience blew any prior resort visit out of the water. Fadi is such a sincere and kind person who greeted us every morning and was spot on with suggestions of things to do and see around the island. The breakfast was different every morning and you can tell great thought and preparation went into it. The suite (we were in The Eucalypt) was AWESOME with one of the comfiest beds we’ve slept in! Very clean and inviting decor – felt right at home!
  It’s all in the details here at Noah’s Hideaway. They have literally thought of everything before you even know you need it! Beach and snorkeling gear, unlimited waters & sodas, floats for the pool & games just to name a few. You have to experience this place for yourself and you too will be saying there is just not enough room to write about all the wonderful things. THANK YOU Fadi and Kath for creating this little slice of heaven on earth. Can’t wait to come back with our kids 😊❤️😊
