Ocean-View Bungalow Walk to Pebbles Beach sounds like one of those vacation rental listings where “ocean view” means you can see a sliver of blue if you crane your neck out the bathroom window. But honestly, this little spot delivers exactly what it promises – and then some.

I mean, yeah, it’s officially a 3-star property, but that 8.7 rating makes total sense once you’re there. The bungalow itself has this lived-in coastal charm that feels authentic rather than staged. The floors creak a bit when you walk around (in a good way, like you’re in an actual beach cottage), and there’s this salty ocean breeze that drifts through the windows pretty much constantly. The walk to Pebbles Beach is legitimately walkable – I’m talking maybe 3-4 minutes at a leisurely pace, not the “short walk” that turns into a 20-minute hike you sometimes get with these places. And here’s the thing about Pebbles Beach that locals know but tourists often miss: it’s actually less crowded in the early morning and late afternoon, so you can have these gorgeous stretches of coastline almost to yourself.

What really sold me on the place was all the little details that someone clearly thought through. The outdoor shower situation is perfect after a beach day – there’s enough privacy but you still get that open-air feeling. Parking is right there (which, if you’ve ever tried to find beach parking in peak season, you know is basically gold). The kitchen setup is simple but functional, and they’ve got this great covered porch area where you can actually hear the waves at night. It gets a bit breezy sometimes, but that’s coastal living for you. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward too – none of that overly complicated lock box situation that makes you feel like you’re solving a puzzle just to get into your room. The whole vibe is just… relaxed, I guess. Like someone created a space where you can actually unwind instead of spending your vacation trying to figure out how everything works.

  The layout was great, allowing for independent sleeping arrangements, breakfast gatherings and evening discussions. The pebble beach allowed for sunset watching and morning and evening swims. The house fans really provided a breeze relief from heat of the afternoon. It was good to deal with the potable water.. increased our awareness of water conservation.

  For what you are receiving, it is a good value. It was spacious and comfortable enough for our group (5) and we had all of the kitchen appliances, cooking equipment, bath amenities and linens we needed. WiFi service was excellent with no interruptions. All that was needed was our own food. Everything else was there. View of the ocean is available from all main floor rooms and was wonderful. We were there during whale migration and could see whales and hear them spouting from in the house.

  Die Aussicht ist ein Traum. Auch der tolle Pebbles Strand ist nur 3 Minuten zu Fuss entfernt.
  Das Strandhaus ist toll ausgestattet und ich habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt. Toll war auch dass jede Menge Strandutensilien zur Verfügung standen.
  Ausserdem ist der Besitzer Tom sehr freundlich, kooperativ und flexibel. Ich komme auf alle Fälle wieder 😊
