You’re close enough to South Kihei Road that beach hopping is super easy — Kamaole Beach Parks are just a few minutes away. The free parking on-site is clutch because, let me tell you, parking can be a real headache elsewhere on the island. I noticed a lot of couples here during my stay, which makes sense given the relaxed atmosphere and romantic sunset views.

Amenities That Matter

The pool area became my afternoon hangout spot — it’s nothing fancy, but it’s clean and gets good sun most of the day. What I appreciated was how uncrowded it usually was, unlike some of the resort pools that feel like water parks. The whole setup feels more residential than touristy, which worked perfectly for me since I wanted to experience Maui without the constant resort bubble. Plus, having laundry facilities meant I could pack lighter and do a load mid-trip.

  The window to our particular unit allowed wonderful views of the ocean and sunset. Television was excellent. Spacious. Appealing art hung on the walls in bedrooms. Ceiling fans helped to circulate air. Appliances such as dishwasher (although small), clothes washer, coffee maker, refrigerator were very good. Air conditioner worked well although was not required most of the time. Plenty of dishes, cooking utensils etc.
