Oceanfront Mana Kai 2 bedroom condo Overview
Honestly, I wasn’t sure what to expect when I first pulled up to the Mana Kai – the building itself looks pretty standard from the outside, but man, once you get inside this 2-bedroom unit, it’s a completely different story. The oceanfront view hits you immediately when you walk in, and I mean *immediately* – those floor-to-ceiling windows don’t mess around. You’re literally looking straight out at the water, and depending on which floor you’re on, you can watch the waves roll in while you’re making your morning coffee.
What really sold me on this place is how it actually feels like someone’s home rather than a sterile hotel room. The kitchen is properly stocked (not just the bare minimum like most vacation rentals), and there’s enough counter space that you can actually cook if you want to save some money instead of eating out every meal. The bedrooms are spacious enough that you’re not tripping over each other’s suitcases, which – let’s be real – matters when you’re traveling with family or friends for more than a few days. The master bedroom catches those sunrise views if you’re an early riser, though honestly, the sound of the waves might just lull you back to sleep anyway.
Here’s what I wish someone had told me before booking: parking can be a bit tight during peak season, so don’t roll up in a massive SUV expecting it to be easy. Also, while the 9.7 rating isn’t wrong, keep in mind this is a condo building, not a resort – so don’t expect daily housekeeping or a concierge desk. But you know what? That’s actually part of the charm. You get the independence to do your own thing without someone constantly asking if you need fresh towels. The location puts you close enough to walk to some decent local spots for food (there’s this little poke place about ten minutes down the road that locals actually go to), but far enough from the main tourist chaos that you can actually relax. The AC works well, which matters more than you’d think, and the Wi-Fi is solid if you need to sneak in some work calls. I mean, you’re staring at the ocean, so even work calls don’t feel that bad. It’s the kind of place where you might actually find yourself wanting to hang out on the lanai with a book instead of rushing off to activities every single day.
Visitors often choose Hawaii apartments over traditional hotels because they provide more space, kitchen facilities, and the opportunity to live like a local in this magnificent Pacific paradise.

Such a great place to stay! Steps to the pool and the beach. Newly updated and chic interior. Spacious bathrooms with lots of counter-space. Great luggage and clothing storage spaces. AC works very well. Storage closet was stocked with beach items. Balcony had amazing space and view. Parking spot was right next to the front doors of building, and in the shade. Pool was quiet and had tables/chairs with umbrellas available. Barbecues were always available. Store had great snacks, BBQ items, and lunch food. Overall, the best part is that everything is so close…when you stay at a big resort or bigger condominium complex you spend a lot of time getting to the pool, then getting to the beach, then getting to your car but here everything is just a quick walk!

The location was awesome. A view to end all views! Condo was very clean and comfortable. The hosts were very helpful. Loved the keyless entry. This place one of the best places I have stayed at here in Maui.
