I spent most afternoons bouncing between the pool and the beach, then coming back to rinse off the salt and sand in what might be the most satisfying outdoor shower I’ve encountered. The trade winds hit just right in the afternoon too – you’ll find yourself taking these unexpected naps that feel absolutely necessary.

The whole setup feels like what a Hawaiian vacation should be, honestly. Not overly fancy, not trying to be something it’s not, just really well-executed comfort in a spot where you can hear the ocean and feel like you’re actually experiencing Kauai rather than just visiting it.
