Princeville Sealodge Unit D-4 Overview
First Impressions
When I first pulled up to Princeville Sealodge Unit D-4, I’ll be honest — it doesn’t look like much from the outside. But that’s actually part of its charm, you know? This four-star condo sits quietly along Kamehameha Road in Princeville, and once you step inside, you realize you’ve stumbled onto something pretty special. The fact that couples rate the location a 9.6 out of 10 starts making perfect sense the moment you see those ocean views.
Location & Setting
Princeville itself is this perfectly manicured resort community on Kauai’s north shore, and honestly, the Sealodge complex might have one of the best spots in the whole area. You’re perched right on these dramatic bluffs overlooking Anini Beach — I mean, the views are just ridiculous. What I love is that you get all the benefits of being in Princeville (those perfectly maintained grounds, the upscale vibe) without the resort crowds. There’s parking right on site too, which might sound boring but trust me, it’s a huge relief when you’re hauling groceries and beach gear.
The Space
The apartment itself feels like someone’s well-loved vacation home rather than a sterile rental. The kitchen is actually functional — I’m talking full-size appliances and enough counter space to prep a real meal, not just reheat leftovers. The living area opens right onto this lanai where you can sit with your morning coffee and watch the waves crash below. The bedroom is comfortable enough, though honestly, you’ll probably spend most of your time on that deck soaking in those ocean views.
The Experience
What really sets this place apart is how it feels like you’re living in Princeville rather than just visiting. You can walk down to the beach access (it’s a bit of a hike, but totally worth it), or just hang out on the property and watch the sunset paint the sky. The whole Sealodge complex has this laid-back, residential feel that I really appreciate. You’re close enough to the St. Regis and other resort amenities if you want them, but far enough away that you’re not dealing with tour buses and crowds every time you step outside.
Why Guests Love It
I think what keeps people coming back here — and why recent guests rate the location so highly — is that perfect balance between convenience and tranquility. You’re in one of Hawaii’s most beautiful settings, but you have the space and privacy to actually relax and enjoy it. The fact that it’s consistently rated 8.8 overall tells you that people leave here feeling like they got exactly what they came for. It’s not flashy or over-the-top, but sometimes that’s exactly what you need when you’re trying to unwind in paradise.

Stuart from Canada (8/10)
The view! The location of the unit is amazing.
Peter from United States (9/10)
Beautiful view from the cliff this unit is positioned on. Unfortunately, sunrise and sunset aren't visible in late November as east and west directions have mountains in the way, but that's not a big issue. Unit was well stocked with coffee & filters, condiments, soap, shampoo, and many others. The neighbors were very quiet and we slept very well in the comfortable bed.
Linnae from United States (9/10)
We were blown away by the view and the sound of the ocean lulling us to sleep every night.
The condo had everything we needed. We appreciated having beach towels and beach chairs to borrow on our beach day.Gianni from United States (9/10)

Incredible views of the ocean. Seemed to be the best possible of all the units for enjoying the water. Immaculately clean interior; great preparatory notes mailed ahead by the owner. Everything one might need for cooking and beach going had been provided.
