The shower pressure is honestly fantastic, which I always notice because hotel showers usually disappoint, and the bed is one of those where you sink in just enough without feeling like you’re being swallowed.

What really makes Puu Poa special though is the location – you’re close enough to everything without being in the middle of the tourist chaos. I could walk to some incredible snorkeling spots that most visitors never find because they stick to the obvious beaches. The whole Princeville area has this elevated, almost exclusive feel, but not in a stuffy way. More like you’ve discovered this perfect pocket where everything just works. Parking was never an issue, which anyone who’s dealt with resort areas will appreciate. And honestly, the sunsets from here… well, I took about fifty photos and none of them captured how it actually looked. You’ll just have to see for yourself. It’s the kind of place where you start planning your return visit before you’ve even checked out.

  Everything! It was a wonderful experience. The hosts provided everything we would need from beach towels to kitchen and cooking staples, laundry and all wifi info. This was one of the very beat places we have ever stayed. The view is amazing and the location is top notch. We will be back as soon as we can!

  Breathtaking Sunset and Rainbow views over Hanalei Bay! Walking distance to the best snorkeling we found on our full Island Trip. The unit was beautiful and comfy for our family of four.
