The walk to the beach is legitimately easy – I’m talking maybe three minutes at a leisurely pace, which is pretty sweet when you’re hauling a cooler and beach chairs. What I really appreciated was how quiet it stays even during the busier summer months. You get that pleasant sound of people enjoying themselves without the chaos of being right on top of the action. The rooms have this light, airy feel with decent-sized windows that actually open (revolutionary concept, right?), and the air conditioning works without sounding like a freight train. Check-in was surprisingly smooth – the staff seemed genuinely happy to be there, which you notice more than you’d think after staying at places where everyone looks miserable.

Here’s the thing that really won me over: all those little details that show someone actually thought about what travelers need. The shower pressure is solid, there are enough outlets near the bed for your phone charger, and – this might sound weird but hear me out – the pillows are actually comfortable. Not too flat, not like sleeping on marshmallows. The whole place has this relaxed, unpretentious vibe that makes sense once you realize they’ve focused on getting the basics really right instead of throwing money at flashy stuff nobody uses. Parking was easy too, which if you’ve ever driven around beach towns in summer, you know that’s basically a minor miracle. I’d definitely come back, especially considering how reasonable the rates are compared to some of the overpriced places closer to the main strip. It’s one of those spots where you end up having a better time than you expected, which honestly is the best kind of pleasant surprise.

  The unit was fine. We checked in without any difficulty. Very warm in the unit and the living room unit was really loud and dirty. There were wet towels stuffed inside the beach chairs. The really big problem was the driveway. The first night we were walking to the beach and I fell in a big hole in the driveway and really hurt myself. Hyper extended my right arm and hurt both of my knees. There were no outdoor lights to light our way so it was really hard to miss it. Very dangerous.
