Location-wise, you’re walking distance to everything but not drowning in the Kalakaua Avenue madness. The beach is maybe a five-minute stroll, and you’ll pass ABC Store, Lawson Station, and usually some local musicians setting up near the International Market Place. Parking was surprisingly painless – the building has its own garage, which is basically gold in Waikiki where most places charge you $40 a night to park three blocks away. The trade-off is you hear a bit of street noise, but it’s mostly just the city humming along, not obnoxious party noise. Actually dies down pretty well after 10 PM most nights. Check-in was smooth through the property management company, though I’d recommend confirming arrival details a day ahead just to avoid any confusion.
