The windows are positioned so you get these cross-breezes that honestly make the whole air conditioning thing feel unnecessary most of the time. Plus, they’ve got this little kitchenette setup that’s actually functional if you want to grab some local seafood and cook it yourself, which I definitely recommend doing at least once.

Here’s the thing though – and this is probably why they’re pulling those high ratings – it’s the kind of place that gets the balance right between giving you space and making you feel looked after. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward, none of that forced chatty stuff some places do, but when I had a question about tide times (because yes, timing matters if you want to see the sea turtles this place is named after), they knew their stuff. The location puts you close enough to hear the waves without being right in the thick of tourist chaos, and parking is actually sorted – trust me, that matters more than you think until you’re circling around for twenty minutes with your luggage melting in the backseat. If you’re planning to visit during nesting season, which runs roughly May through October, book way ahead because word is definitely out about this place. But honestly, even in the quieter months, there’s something pretty special about having this stretch of coast mostly to yourself.

  Sehr schönes, geräumiges Haus in angenehmer, ruhiger Lage. Es war wirklich alles vorhanden, angefangen bei Strandhandtüchern, Strandstühlen, Schnorchel-Equipment bis hin zu einer Reserveflasche Gas für den Grill.
