But this place actually caught me off guard in the best way possible. It’s got this laid-back vibe that feels authentically Hawaiian rather than just resort-Hawaiian, if that makes sense. The moment you walk through the lobby, there’s this immediate sense that you’re somewhere special on the Garden Isle, not just another beachfront hotel.

What really sets this place apart is how it manages to feel both polished and genuinely local at the same time. The villa-style accommodations are spacious – I mean, actually spacious, not just “spacious for a hotel room” – and they’ve got these private lanais where you can sit with your morning coffee and hear the waves without the usual resort chaos. The kitchenettes are properly equipped too, which is clutch when you want to grab some fresh fish from the local markets and cook it yourself.   The room was very clean, the bed was very comfortable.
  We had a dishwasher, washing machine, and dryer, which was amazing. Detergent was provided.
  There was a small kitchen with a stove, with silverware. A coffee pot.
  A few cool activities were available at the resort.
  The staff was very helpful and nice.

  It was so comfortable, it had everything we could have needed for our stay in the villas including a washing matching and well stocked kitchen for us to cook some simple meals.
  It was in such a beautiful location, close to Poipu beach, the shops and a convenient drive to landmarks. We had an early morning greeting with one of the monk seals – so very special!
  The best sunset views to sit and near one of the many fire pits.
