The morning routine became grabbing coffee from their little lobby setup (decent stuff, not hotel swill) and watching the sunrise from the water before most people even thought about getting up. And honestly, being across the street instead of directly beachfront worked in our favor – we got all the ocean views and beach access without the constant foot traffic and higher prices you’d pay for those front-row properties.

What really got me was how the staff seemed to actually know the area. The guy at the front desk – I think his name was Carlos – didn’t just hand us a generic tourist map. He walked outside with us that first evening and pointed out which beach entrance had the best waves for bodyboarding, where locals go for the freshest seafood (not the tourist traps), and even mentioned that the street gets pretty quiet after 9 PM so we wouldn’t have to worry about noise. The Wi-Fi worked everywhere (even poolside), parking was included and actually had enough spaces, and check-in took about three minutes.
