The space itself is smart – like, someone actually thought about how people live in small spaces. The bed doesn’t dominate everything, and there’s this little area near the window where you can sit with your morning coffee and watch people heading down to the beach. Speaking of which, the beach access is legitimately close, not that “near beach” nonsense where you’re hiking for twenty minutes. I timed it one morning – about a three-minute walk, maybe four if you’re carrying a lot of gear. The studio’s got that coastal vibe down pat too, sort of relaxed but still put-together. The bathroom’s compact but functional (good water pressure, which matters more than people admit), and there’s enough storage that you’re not living out of your suitcase the whole time.

What I really appreciated was how quiet it stays, even with the beach proximity. I was expecting constant foot traffic and voices carrying up from the sand, but the windows do a decent job keeping things peaceful. Well, except for the seagulls – but honestly, if you’re staying this close to the ocean and complaining about seagulls, you’re missing the point. The 8.4 rating makes sense to me; it’s not trying to be a luxury resort, but it nails what it’s going for. Check-in was straightforward, parking wasn’t a nightmare (though I’d recommend asking about spots when you book, especially if you’re visiting during peak season), and the whole experience felt refreshingly uncomplicated. You know what really sold me though? Watching the sunset from that window – the colors reflecting off the water change everything about the space. It’s one of those moments where you remember why you travel in the first place.
