The building itself is pretty typical for the area, but step inside and you’ll find everything’s been kept up nicely.

What I love about this apartment is how it feels like a real home rather than a hotel room. You’ve got two proper bedrooms — not just a living room with a pullout couch situation — which makes a huge difference if you’re traveling with friends or family. The kitchen is actually functional too, with full-size appliances and enough counter space to prep meals. You know what’s great? Being able to grab fresh fish from the local market and cook it yourself instead of eating out every single night.

Location Magic

Here’s the thing about being on South Kihei Road — you’re literally minutes from Kamaole Beach Parks, which are some of the most swimmable beaches on this side of the island. I’ve stayed in fancier places up in Wailea, but then you’re paying resort prices for everything and dealing with crowds. From here, you can walk to Kalama Park (great for morning runs, by the way), and there’s decent parking which honestly can be a nightmare elsewhere in Kihei. The restaurant scene is right at your doorstep too — Coconut’s Fish Cafe is just down the road, and their fish tacos are absolutely incredible.

The apartment gets tons of natural light, which sounds simple but makes such a difference when you’re spending lazy afternoons here between beach sessions. There’s a lanai where you can actually sit and have your morning coffee — nothing fancy, but it works perfectly. The whole setup feels lived-in rather than sterile, if that makes sense. Plus, having a washer and dryer means you can pack light and not stress about sandy clothes piling up during your stay.
