The kitchen isn’t huge, but it’s got everything you need if you want to grab groceries and make breakfast instead of spending twenty bucks on hotel room service every morning. There’s this little balcony too that I didn’t expect from the photos – nothing fancy, but perfect for morning coffee when you want to watch the neighborhood wake up.

What really surprised me was how quiet it gets at night, even though you’re right in the middle of everything during the day. The walls are actually thick enough that you’re not hearing every conversation from next door, which – let’s be honest – is pretty rare these days. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward too; none of that awkward lobby waiting around or dealing with uptight front desk staff. The whole experience just felt more… real, I guess? Like you’re staying somewhere that people actually live, not some sanitized hotel bubble. Sure, you don’t get daily housekeeping or tiny bottles of shampoo, but honestly, having your own space and the freedom to come and go without walking past a judgment-filled concierge desk was worth way more than those little perks. If you’re the type who likes feeling like a temporary local rather than an obvious tourist, this place gets it right.
