The kitchenette is tiny but functional (I managed to make decent coffee and simple meals), and honestly, the bed was more comfortable than I expected from a 3-star spot. What I really appreciated were the little touches that show someone actually stays in these units themselves – good lighting where you need it, enough outlets near the bed, and blackout curtains that actually block out the early morning sun. The modern part of the name isn’t marketing speak either; everything feels fresh and updated, not like those places where “recently renovated” means they slapped new paint over old problems.
Location-wise, it’s one of those spots where you’re close enough to everything without being right in the thick of tourist chaos. I could hear some street noise during the day, but nothing that kept me up at night – and honestly, after spending days exploring the island, I was tired enough that a marching band probably wouldn’t have woken me. The parking situation is straightforward (which, if you’ve dealt with Maui parking, you know is a genuine blessing), and the check-in process was smooth – no drama, no waiting around. The 8.1 rating makes sense to me; it’s not going to blow your mind, but it delivers on what it promises. I’d definitely consider staying here again, especially if I was planning to spend most of my time out exploring rather than lounging around the room.
