Hotel Description
Look, I’ll be straight with you about this Kailua-Kona condo – it’s one of those places that doesn’t try to be fancy, but honestly? That’s exactly what makes it work. When I first pulled up (and parking was actually pretty easy, which you know is a win in Kona), I wasn’t blown away by the exterior or anything. But once you get inside and start settling in, you realize this is exactly the kind of low-key setup you want when you’re trying to actually unwind in Hawaii instead of feeling like you’re staying in some sterile resort.
The location is what really sells it for me. You’re close enough to Ali’i Drive that you can walk to grab coffee or hit up those little local spots without dealing with the absolute chaos of the main tourist strip – I mean, if you’ve ever tried to find parking near the seawall on a weekend, you know what I’m talking about. The condo itself has that lived-in feel that’s way more comfortable than those cookie-cutter vacation rentals. The kitchen actually has everything you need (not just the bare minimum), which is clutch when you want to prep your own poke or just make coffee without paying resort prices. And you know what? The lanai is where you’ll probably end up spending most of your time anyway. It’s not oceanfront or anything dramatic, but there’s something really nice about having your own little outdoor space where you can eat breakfast and plan your day without rushing.
Here’s the thing though – this isn’t a luxury experience, and I don’t think it’s trying to be. The building shows its age a bit, and some of the finishes are pretty basic. But honestly, when you’re spending your days at Hapuna Beach or exploring up in Waimea, you just need a clean, comfortable place to crash that doesn’t feel like you’re camping. The bed’s comfortable, the AC works (trust me, you’ll want it), and the whole vibe is just… relaxed. It’s perfect for couples who want to do their own thing instead of being herded around with a bunch of other tourists. Plus, you’re positioned really well for day trips – whether you want to drive up to Mauna Kea for stargazing or head south to check out the black sand beaches, nothing feels too far away. I’d definitely stay here again, especially if I was planning one of those trips where I wanted to feel more like a temporary local than a tourist.

The property was attractive (pool area, landscaping, etc.) and quiet. The kitchen was well appointed. The bed was comfy, with lots of pillows. We felt safe here.
Availability was a huge issue for us: We THOUGHT we had reserved another property but it turned out the reservation had never been secured. That this was available at the last minute was a godsend for us.Emma from United States (7/10)
I appreciated the soft bed comforter, the extra towels and blankets, and the air conditioning. Directions for getting in were straightforward and the host was very responsive. The proximity to shops added to the ease of travel. Overall a nice stay.

location was great.

The property was very quite while we were there. Loved the "beach" for relaxing and the salt pool was great. The unit was comfortable with everything you need. Beds were comfy and slept well. Microwave wasn’t working at the time and the pans are worn but sleeping comfortably and location was our main concern

the condo complex was exceptional, I will be finding another condo to stay in at this exact location in the future.

Excellent location to local beaches and the center of town. The Casa on site store is a jewel of a convenience shop for food, drinks (alcohol and non-alcohol) local favorite snacks and island souvenirs. This was our best Condo location. Aloha and Mahalo, Dr. Beth😃🌺❤️

Great location and amenities! We had a toddler with us, and she loved that she could walk a few feet to swim in the pool while seeing the ocean. Size of the space was great for me, my husband and daughter. Everything was clean and the host provided towels (including pool towels), a few beach floats, and drying rack on balcony for wet clothes that was very nice. Balcony chairs and table were a big hit for relaxing and eating outside when the sun was at its peak. Parking on premises was very convenient. Close to things while being a bit away from the crowd.
